|4 oz||Melted Chocolate Squares, i use baker's unsweetened|
|2 tsp||Baking Powder|
Cream butter and sugar. Add beaten eggs and chocolate. Alternate adding milk and dry ingredients, starting and ending with flour. Divide batter equally between two 9" cake pans. Bake at 350 for 35-45 minutes.
I frost my cake with the following Fudge Icing:
Melt together 4 squares of chocolate and 3T butter.
Mix in bowl:
1 box confectioner's sugar
5 T. of milk (sometimes 6)
a small shake of salt
2 t. of vanilla
Pour chocolate mixture into sugar mixture and beat. Frosts top and sides of two layer cake.
