Almondette Torte

This cake requires no baking, just put it in the refrigerator overnight and let the flavors marry. This simple dessert is packed with almond flavors.
Ingredients
- 1 pound cake, broken up
- 1 tub prepared cream cheese cake filling
- 3/4 cup amaretto
- 1/2 cup sliced toasted almonds

Method
In a 8 inch springform pan, place half of broken pound cake into pan making a solid layer. Brush amaretto liberally over cake. Add half of cheesecake filling on cake. Add another layer of cake, brushed with amaretto, and top with remaining cheesecake filling. Top with almonds before serving.
