|1 cup||Oil, canola|
|1 cup||Sour Cream, about 7 oz.|
|1 cup||All Purpose Flour|
|1 Tbsp||Baking Powder|
|For The Chocolate Ganache:|
|½ cup||Whipping Cream|
|4 oz||Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips|
Preheat the oven to 340 F.
mix well the oil, sugar, eggs, nesquik powder and sour cream. add the flour and baking powder and mix to combine (do not over mix please).
pour into a large cake pan and bake for 40 minuets.
for the ganache:
in a small sauce pan heat the whipping cream until it is very hot, yet don't boil it - mix in the chocolate chips and melt it until you get a smooth ganache. pour it on the cake.
nice variation is to bake this cake in ice cream cones for 25 minuets (instead of 40 minuets) yield 20 ice cream cones - can be decorated with the ganache and sprinkles.
