|1 box||Red Velvet Cake Mix (plus Ingredients, for cake)|
|Â€¢1 Container Cream Cheese Frosting|
|Â€¢1 Package (16 Oz) Vanilla Candiquik Coating|
|Â€¢1 Package (16 Oz) Chocolate Candiquik Coating|
|Â€¢1 Package (36 Count) Lollipop Sticks|
|Â€¢decorative Icings, sprinkles and/or colored sugars|
Prepare and bake cake mix as directed on box; cool completely.
Crumble cooled cake into a large bowl.
Mix thoroughly with frosting (if you like your cake pops less "doughy" and more "cakey", only use 1/2 container. Also, it may be easier to use fingers to mix together).
Chill for approximately 2 hours in fridge.
Roll mixture into 1" sized balls and place on wax paper lined baking sheet. Insert a lollipop stick into the center of each cake ball.
Melt both the chocolate and vanilla CANDIQUIK flavors according to directions on package.
Dip cake pops in the melted CANDIQUIK; place in styrofoam block or on wax paper until set.
Decorate with icings, candies and colored sugars.
TIP: If cake balls start to stick or get gooey when dipping, place the remaining cake balls in the refrigerator for 20-30 additional minutes.
