Sour Cream Pound Cake

A bit of rum flavoring adds a special touch to this classic pound cake.

Ingredients:

3 cups Flour
3 cups Sugar
6 Eggs
8 oz Carton Sour Cream
2 sticks Butter
¼ tsp Salt
¼ tsp Baking Powder
1 Tbsp Rum Flavoring

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray 2 loaf pans.

Cream butter and sugar. Add 3 eggs, one at a time. Add half of the flour. Add the remaining eggs, one at a time. Add remaining flour and other ingredients. Bake for 45 minutes.

Helpful Tips:

Remove from oven 2-3 minutes early and the cake will be moister for gifting. I came across this old time recipe on a blog and just wanted to share it with you this holiday season.
