To Die For Oatmeal Cake

This hearty cake is best served warm with vanilla ice cream or your favorite fruit topping.
 

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups oatmeal
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 dashes of salt

Method

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F. Blend butter and sugar in a medium bowl on high for 1 to 2 minutes or until fluffy. Add eggs. In a separate bowl, mix oats, flour, salt, and baking soda. Put mixture in the sugar, butter, and eggs. Then blend it all together until mixed. Add milk and blend on low until it looks like a cake mix. Put in the oven for 24 to 28 minutes.
